Tonight's show starts out with a Cro Mags cover re-tooled for COVID-19. We want to those who donated to CIUT. At the time of taping that included Justin, Shawna, Jamie, Steve, Mary, Vince, Jamie, Lisa, Dave, JDM, and John. Since then a few more have gone on and let us know and you can too at www.ciut.fm. We are just over 60% of the way there. Tonight’s demo is a new band formed out of isolation in Southern Ontario called “Questionable Gentlemen. A Fascinating project band featuring 14 songs and 7 singers and they are donating money raised from the sales of this recording to the station. Please see the link below. You can download the show here.

2 MINUTE MINOR - Hard Times (Zap)

Up Next is a brand new archival release of the first punk band from Bulgaria called the NEW FLOWERS. This release is called “Cold War Collection” and compiles material recorded by the band between 1979 and 1995. Puke ‘n Vomit is the label that did all the hard work.

НОВИ ЦВЕТЯ (NOVY TSVETYA) - Revolting Grief (Гнусната Печал) (Puke 'n Vomit)
LARRY WILLIS - Police Car (Stiff)
BIZARROS - Nova (Gorilla / Clone)
STINKY TOYS - Plastic Faces (Polydor)
CHILD MOLESTERS - I'm Gonna Punch You (Ace and Duce / Negative Jazz)

The CHILD MOLESTERS best known for the song “Hillside Strangler”, have a collection called “Hound Dog Recordings and we heard a song from that called “I’m Gonna Punk You (in the Face). We started off with NEW FLOWERS from Bulgaria and we heard the song “Revolting grief” Again the first punk band from Bulgaria released on Puke n’ Vomit Records. After that we heard “Police Car” by Larry Willis. This song originally appeared as an ep from 1977 and a live version came out on a Stiff compilation a year later. The BIZARROS were next with a recording from 1976 called “Lady Doubounette”. The BIZARROS were from Akron along with so many other bands and they had a STOOGES and Velvet Underground feel to their sound. We heard a song called “Nova”. That was followed up by the STINKY TOYS from Paris and we heard the song “Plastic Faces”. It was released on a self titled LP in 1977. Up next is a Peel Sessions recording of "Nobody's Hero" by Stiff Little Fingers.

That was Reek Minds from Portland was a song called “End of the Trail” off a self titled ep. That’s a scorcher. REGIMEN DE TERROR with the title track off an EP released by La Vida es Un Mus. A more rudimentary DISCHARGE flavour. Brand new. WARWOUND are a reformed band from Birmingham that started out originally in 1982. THe re-boot started back five years ago with Ian Glasper on bass. He has written all these wonderful books on decades of punk in the UK. This is a song called “The Age of the Racist” and is off a new release called “WWWIII”. That was followed up by another new band with deep roots. The band is called Grey C.E.L.L. and they feature members of Citizens Arrest. One of my all time favourite hardcore bands out of NYC. They are now based on Philly and the song we heard was called “Wreck”.

AARMA from Brazil was next with Control Da Massas. They released this album called "Dogmas" earlier this month. I found Cliterarti recently and I just had to play it cuz is sick. This was released on Tankcrimes last year, and is another of the few trans- hardcore punk bands, there should be more like this. The singer Ami Lawless recorded a live studio 3 session with Voetsek in the old CIUT studios on St. George Street. KIRJE KELALTA from Finland were next with "Vapaa Karantenit". This was released earlier this month. Regret from Bristol were next with "Prepare for a fall". And last we heard another band i discovered recently this is actually a solo project by the Afro-Brazilian Bassist, Songwriter and Vocalist, Flora Lucini. A 6- piece electric band with percussion, taking traditional styles of Hardcore-punk and mixing them with Rhythms of the African Diaspora. Flora describes her music as:
