Sparkmarker "Atomos" ep

This record was the third in a series exposing Canadian artists. This record was dedicated to the art of Mark "Atomos" Pilon who did some layout for Discorder magazine and coincidentally did the layout on a piece on Saprkmarker that the band didn't find out about until after the fact. The recordings for all three records were done at the same time in new York with Don Fury from July 5th through 7th in 1993. This record came out on No idea and contained the songs:
1. So Long
2. The Way She Moved
3. Kansas

Sparkmarker

Sparkmarker were from Vancouver. Kim Kinakin used to be in Fratricide and started up this emo inspired straight edge band. Shawn Scallen did the cover photo hence the name of the ep. There is a very Dischord house a la "Salad Days" looking photo on the back cover. Heart First released the ep. The songs on here are:
1. Character 1
2. Speaking of Heroes
3. Instrumental

Sparkmarker "Gerberick" ep

This record was named after an artist named Ken Gerberick. Ken had a studio across the street from Sparkmarker. The cover is one of Ken's pieces. Ken creates art out of years of odds and sods form somewhere else. Just incredible stuff. This 7" was the first in a series of three 7" that worked at exposing Canadian artists. The songs on here are:

1. Levi's Deklein
2. Sleeping with the TV on
3. Memorenda
