Sparkmarker were from Vancouver. Kim Kinakin used to be in Fratricide and started up this emo inspired straight edge band. Shawn Scallen did the cover photo hence the name of the ep. There is a very Dischord house a la "Salad Days" looking photo on the back cover. Heart First released the ep. The songs on here are: 1. Character 1
