This is Rear Garde issue 29. This came out in January 1989 and featured interviews with DRI, DBC, Karen Finley, the Blackjacks, 54 40, Billy Bragg, Birth Defects, Pumphouse, and Mr T Experience. there are scene reports on Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, and Boston. Plus concert and music reviews.
Rear Garde from December 1988. This was issue 28 and featured interviews with All, the False Prophets, Adrian Sherwood, Butthole Surfers, Sham 69, Stratejackets, Jr. Gone Wild, Chris Spedding, the Look People, the Band of Susans and Death Angel. There are scene reports on Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa, music reviews and other column writing.

Rear Garde was an enterainment newspaper that was published in Montreal and had it's roots on Concordia's radio station CSRG. By issue 26 it was an independent publication and had a lot of great interviews. This issue featured interviews with the Circle Jerks, S.C.U.M., Razorbacks, Ludwig Von 88, Alex Chilton, Cowboy Junkies, Alternative Inuit, Sudden Impact, Vilain Pengouin, Johnny Arse and the Dogs, Adrenalin O.D., 76% Uncertain, and MDC. Sounds like a punk zine.
Montreal zine, Rear Garde, release issue number 25 in June 1988 and features interviews with UK Subs, Ray Condo, Absolute Whores, GG Allin, Honeymoon, Henry Rollins, Talk Shop, Big Daddy Cumbuckets, and Infamous Basturds.
Issue Number 24 of Rear Garde featuring interviews with Schooly-D, A Neon Rome, the Wailers, Nomeansno, UIC and other great features. The issue was published on April 1988.
Rear Garde is a program guide for CRSG, the campus community station out of Concordia. Program Guides also functioned as local entertainment magazines for the local scene. This issue is 20 pages in length and is subtitled the "Not a Cow-Punk" issue. The guide features in depth pieces on Ray Condo, Asexuals, 8th Route Army, Fleshtones, The Paul James Band, and Three O'Clock Train.
