Demo Feature 

Dioxide are a new band from Toronto. They play raw punk influenced by Discharge, early Finnish hardcore and dark UK82. Distorted guitar and bass compliment the aggressive vocal. The drums keep a consistent dbeat reminding the listener of early Discharge. Formed in 2020 this is their first release; recorded live off the floor in their rehearsal space. Currently available for stream or download via the band’s bandcamp. Dioxide are Bri - Vocals, Tyler - Bass, Stevie - Guitar and Corey - Drums. Chris interviews Bri from Dioxide. Part two of the Tomorrow is Too Late series is More Stupid Initials, more commonly known as M.S.I. This is a band that was very close to me and by that I mean they were a group of kids that I got to hang out with. They were group of friends in the scene, so they mean a lot to me. But they also played an important part of the Toronto Hardcore scene. They were Toronto's first straight edge band, but they didn't sound like a typical straight edge band. As a result they caught a lot of people off guard. So we try and get at the essence of this band decades later. Tim, Paul, Derek and Glen were in on the interview. John couldn't make it. All local bill at our favourite club, the Slither, which was in the basement of the Paddock. It was at Queen and Bathurst.

Missing Link "Metalibut Torque Bastard" ep

Missing Link were from Pickering and they were friends with a scene out there which included Malhavoc, Al Nolan who would sing in Deep End, Dave Petretic of Intense fanzine, and MSI. The band had already released a cassette called "Murder Music" and this ep was self released. Missing Link recorded the m aterial at Reaction Studios in July 1987 and the session was engineered by Darrell Gasparini. The songs on here are:

Here is issue #2 of Breach of Discipline and it came out shortly after the first issue. This issue features SNFU, Youth of Today, Subhumans, Black Donnellys, Insecticide, Sons of Ishmael, Sudden Impact, Flecks of Drool, Missing Link, and NFG.

Missing Link "Murder Music" cassette

Missing Link released a cassette in 1987 that was recorded on April 18 and 18 at Northwest Sound. Loads of songs and a different recording than the ep. The folks in the band were Dave Coath on vocals, Mark Holman on guitar, Terry Wachter on bass, and Chris Langstaff on drums. Below is the lyric sheet inside the cassette.

This is the second issue of this Mississauga zine. This issue starts out with an interview with Steve Goof from BFG. There was an interview with Sons of Ishmael. There is an interview with Don of Reuben Kincade who managed Hype. There is an interview with the singer and drummer from October Crisis. Hype gets interviewed, which makes sense given john was playing guitar in the band at the time. There is an interview with Charlie Brown's Wang who would become Missing Link. One of the few interviews with the amazing Social Suicide from Brantford. There are interviews with Samhain and 7 Seconds when they were through Toronto. There are some explanatory pictures of skateboard tricks and some pictures of Gang Green and SCUM.
