Various Artists "Killed by Canada" Double CD

This was the latest comp that Fans of Bad Productions pulled together. The double CD comp came out in 2007 and had one track by loads one band each. This is the most extensive Canadian comp I have ever seen pulled together. Here is the track listing:

Zine - EXD, VOLUME 3, ISSUE 10

This issue came out in December 2008. The issue starts off with an interview of Running for Cover from Buffalo. There was also an interview with Abusing the Word from Buffalo. An interview with Fly, who has been apart of ABC-No-Rio since the beginning. We also did an interview with the Nunfuckers from Waterloo. And we did a label profiles on Fans of Bad Productions and Spiral Objective from Australia. Reviews, flyers, and photos from a benefit show held for CIUT.

Dirty Bird "Burn" cassette

This is Dirty Bird's first release called "Burn". The release was a cassette and it came out on Fans of Bad Productions. Josh from Mud sang in the band, Adam and James from One Blood played guitars and bass respectively, and Dave Gonzales from Godcorp. played drums.

A few of these tracks made up their first seven inch and  "Swingback" ended up on the "Fuck The Commonwealth" comp. Many of these songs were never heard beyond the 200 copies of this tape circulated around Toronto. DB is still going strong after almost 20 years!!!

Josh did the artwork for the cover. The songs on the release are:

Chicken Milk ep

This was Chicken Milk's first official release. Dale Morningstar recorded this at the Gas Station. The band featured Lisa Myers on guiat and vocals, Sara Montgomery on guitar and vocals, Sally Lee on bass and vocals, and Laura lee Petty on drums and vocals. The first pressing was 1,000 copies on green/blue marble vinyl and a second pressing was done. Side A was 45 RPMs and features the song "You Get Nothing". Side B is at 33 RPMs and features "Outside My Window" and "Sink". This record was released by Fans of Bad Productions and was the label's sixth release. This was co-released with Whiskey Sour Records.

Shiner "Slightly Polished" ep

They were from Victoria. this self-titled ep was released on Slow to Burn Records. Dave and Wade who ran this label were in Shiner. Afterwards they joined forces with Chris Iler of Fans of Bad productions to start 10 Dead Men. The songs on here are:

This was the second release by Fans of Bad Productions called Ya Ma Buzz". The phrase was a Curly impersonation we used to do to each other. We were saying it a lot. Chris titled a comp after this practise or at least how it sounded when we did the impersonation. Paul Abrash got us started on it. Here is the track listing:

This was the fourth release by Fans of Bad Productions, but the third Toronto compilation. Using the kids TV show as a theme. Only 500 copies of this compilation were pressed and it was pressed on red vinyl. This compilations features:

This was a booklet that accompanied a tape compilation called Summer Squash that was put together by Melanie Aguila and Chris Iler of Fans of Bad Productions. Band sincluded on this com are Roctopus, Superfly, Sons of Ishmael, Kingpin, Phleg Camp, Tent of Miracles, Deep End, Epileptic Brain Surgeons, Guilt Parade, Shark Graffitti, MSI, One Blood, Totenhanz, Suckerpunch, Change of Heart, 5Ft. Nothing, No Identity, 4-1/2 Reasons 4 Abortions, Liquid Joy, and Mud. there was also some words about the clubs at the time. The recordings are live soundboard tapes.
