This show brings top 10 reviews to help see 20-20 in the new year. We started off with Wild Side for two reasons. Firstly they are a Canadian band and I will feature my top 10 Canadian releases at the end of the show. Secondly, the song is called "Past, Present and Future" and I am going to start off the show with my top 10 re-issues for 2019. We use MRR reviews as the benchmark for when something was released some some of these releases were in 2018 just reviewed in 2019 which is when they came on my radar. Tonight's show is guest hosted by longtime punk DJ Chris Iler, who co-hosted Fast 'n Bulbous (CHRY), Imperfection Hours (CFRC) and did a label called "Fans of Bad Productions". Chris had the idea to do a label profile on Supreme Echo, this great label in Victoria doing some incredible archival work starting out with a Polish compilation called "Victim of a Safety Pin". Jason Flower, of MPA is the person behind this label and some other great projects that started out as a tape label known as Break Even. Chris and I talk glowingly about Jason and his many projects. Fratricide were from Surrey, BC. They were into crossover and they were skaters. They rulked and they had Pushead's attention. They self-released this ep with Mission of Christ on a label that Kim Kinakin started called Final Notice. Their songs on here are:
