Zine - Kill the Poseurs #1

This was a zine done by Rob Freeborn, little brother to Tim from Sons of Ishmael. Although the name seems to refer to the Dayglo Abortions there is some really neat coverage inclusing the first interview with Slow Death, who were a hardcore band from PEI, Guilt Parade from Fredericton before they moved to Toronto, and the Crucifucks.

Guilt Parade "Coprophobia" LP

Guilt Parade were originally from Fredericton, New Brunswick. Richard Bird, the band's bass player moved here for graduate school at York. Jeff Beardall, the band's guitarist and singer moved a few years later. The band released some amazing demos from back home. This was their first release as a Toronto band. I don't think Richard was part of the band at this time. This was recorded at Umbrella Sound and released by Fringe Products. The songs on here are:

1. Yen for Zen
2. Ode to an Asshole
3. Religion in American Life
4. Powered by Sugar
5. World Gone Mad
6. Frustrated Americans
7. Tar PIts
8. I Win
9. Monochrome
10. Head Enema
11. Surfin' Nuclear
12. Corporate Cog
13. Fuck Off America
14. Dear Dr. Wallace
15. Heartbreak Hotel
16. Jesus Janitor
