Last week as we went to air we were learning that Ric Ocasek had passed away. growing up listening to CFNY I heard the CARS probably more than any other new wave band. And then later in life I learned and still find it unbelievable that he had produced Bad Brains legendary album "Rick for Light". probably the most important hardcore record is produced by the guy behind the new wave hit machine. So we start off with a Cars medley and then finish up with the title track by the Bad Brains. That how the opening segment makes sense. Download the show here.
