This issue features Let's Dance and SNFU. Both bands are from Edmonton. Let's Dance refer to Edmonton as Stabmonton, so this is the Stabmonton issue. Their first ep has loads of knives on it. I think that's how bar fights are fought especially amongst the rig pigs.

At Both Ends, Issues 9 and 10

This is a zine from Vancouver that I have never heard of before. It is unfortunate that I find out about this zine at the end of it’s life. This is the final issue of the zine and it combines Issue 9 and 10 together into a 142 page glossy zine. It is beautifully put together. There is full colour in a bunch of sections. The magazine is book bound and this is of coffee table stature. On top of that this package comes with a double 7” which has four bands each with a side. BANE and GRADE have new exclusive recordings and they team up with new bands UNRESTRAINED and BETWEEN EARTH AND SKY. This deserves it’s own review unto itself, but everything comes together in the finale of this publication. And the issues are split with a flip. The front cover reads one way and the back cover is issue 10 flipped on it’s end. The issue starts out with a tour diary of South America written by BANE. The next piece is an article on the van that ALL tours in. Now that doesn’t sound so exciting, but the piece was surprisingly interesting. There is an interview with Dave Larson from Excursion Records who also made the film Edge of Quarrel. I didn’t realize there was a big beef between him and Kent McClard, but this explains all the ads I used to see for Excursion Records in MRR and not HeartattaCk. There is a neat piece that collects reviews on SPARKMARKER. There was an interview with a vegan straight edge band from Rome called TO KILL. There is also an interview with the SAINTE CATHERINES from Montreal, who a lot of people have been digging. There is a piece on science fiction. And there is an interview with VERSE, who are a straight edge band from Providence, Rhode Island. There is a metal inspired band called A PERFECT MURDER, from Quebec that gets interviewed. Kyle Bishop, the singer of GRADE does a list of his favourite top 20 releases. There is an interview with SICK OF IT ALL. Ad the issue ends with a questions asked of some zine editors. Issue 10 starts out with an interview with SHAI HULUD, which I skipped. There is a piece on being vegan. There is an interview with Brian Clement who sings for a band called WAR BY OTHER MEANS. The interview is about Frontline Films, which is his film company he does. There is a great interview with a guy who masters vinyl on the process which is hugely fascinating. There is an interview with the Swedish band ANCHOR. Loads of material from Canada and loads of material on stuff involving straight edge. VOLUME 9, ISSUE 3

This is a zine done by EXD related to activities pertaining to the radio show. This issue features interviews with In Time, Molested Youth, and Death is Easy who all did Studio 3 sessions for us. There are also some reviews and a flyer page of recent shows.

VOLUME 9, ISSUE 2

This issue of the radio zine came out in May 2009. The issue featured Bored Stiff, the Restarts from the UK when they were over here last doing shows for "Outsider", and interview that Craig did with Deathcage. A Yaer in review piece also appeared looking back at 2008.

VOLUME 9, ISSUE 1

This issue came out in February 2009 and featured an interview with Career Suicide. There was a tour diary of Imants Krumins annual pilgrammage to Japan. Johnny Bubblegum writes some thoughts on the Last Pogo reunion show. A review of Chris Walter's "Personality Crisis: Warm Beer and Wild Times". And there are reviews, show listings, and a flyer page.

VOLUME 8, ISSUE 6

This issue came out in September 2008 and featured Urinary Tract Infection. I also got to speak to Cleave Anderson about his punk past with the Battered Wives and Tyranna and present with the Screwed. The Corporation talked to us about their blend of Op Ivy meets Dead Kennedys approach to ska-core. And an old Bob Burns and the Breakups interview gets published. There are reviews and a flyers page.

This issue came out in August 2008 and featured Black Jacket from Oshawa. Gena Maldezy did an interview with Vapid from Vancouver. We also got to speak to the Suicide Pilots from Ottawa, which is an amazing band with some crazy things that have happened to them. And we also got to speak with Sonorous Gale from Buffalo. Aaron Brown writes about Distort Fest. Craig writes a review of Diary Punk. And there are reviews and show listings.

This issue came out in June 2008. The issue featured an interview with Living Darkness. Gena Maldezy does an interview with the Sinners from london who were a second wave band. Craig Caron interviews Crime Desire. And an interview with Pete from Hits and Misses. A review of Alan O'Connor's book "Punk Record labels and the Struggle for Autonomy: the Emergence of DIY". A video review of Hunka Junk 5 is in here along with other reviews, show listings, and a flyer page.

This issue came out in April 2008. The issue starts out with an interview of Hard Charger from Fredricton. An old interview with Boulevard Trash got published. A travel diary of Craig and Leah of their latest trip in Japan. Reviews of "Punk is Dead: Punk is Everything" and "Manchild" were in this issue. There were also reviews, gossip, show listings, and a flyers page.

This issue came out on April 2008. A new band called Burning Love were on the cover. An old interview with About to Snap from the London / St. Thomas area finally got transcribed. They are hilarious. The Homostupids from Cleveland is interviewed as well. Lots of reviews, gossip, show listings, and an abbreviated flyers page.

This issue came out in February 2008. This was our second themed issue this one being on Sudbury. The Buzzcock like Statues were on the cover. Vicious Cycle, who were one of my favourites at the time were next. Ultra Violence Ray were also in this issue and they worship the Descendents. A Year in Review for 2007 was in this issue.
